Lyrics[]

Ninety-Nine Bottles of Pop[]

(Chosen by Tarrish Potter)

Ninety-nine bottles of pop on the wall,
Ninety-nine bottles of pop,
If one of those bottles should happen to fall,
Ninety-eight bottles of pop on the wall.

Ninety-eight bottles of pop on the wall
Ninety-eight bottles of pop
If one of those bottles should happen to fall,
Ninety-seven bottles of pop on the wall.

Pop! Goes the Weasel[]

(Chosen by Suzanne Aoki)

All around the cobbler's bench,
The monkey chased the weasel.
The monkey thought 'twas all in fun...
Pop! Goes the Weasel!

A penny for a spool of thread,
A penny for a needle.
That's the way the money goes...
Pop! Goes the Weasel!

Found a Peanut[]

(Chosen by Olivier Mercier)

Found a peanut, found a peanut,
Found a peanut last night.
Last night I found a peanut,
Found a peanut last night.

Cracked it open, cracked it open,
Cracked it open last night.
Last night I cracked it open,
Cracked it open last night.

The Ants Go Marching[]

(Chosen by Katinka Chun)

The ants go marching one by one,
Hurrah hurrah!
The ants go marching one by one,
Hurrah hurrah!
The ants go marching one by one.
The little one stops to chew his gum,
And they all go marching down.
To the ground to get out of the rain,
Boom! Boom! Boom!

The ants go marching two by two,
Hurrah hurrah!
The ants go marching two by two,
Hurrah hurrah!
The ants go marching two by two.
The little one stops to tie his shoe,
And they all go marching down.
To the ground to get out of the rain,
Boom! Boom! Boom!

Trivia[]

  • The original title of "Ninety-Nine Bottles of Pop" was "Ninety-Nine Bottles of Beer"; however, the term "beer" was replaced by "pop" (the Southern-American term for "soda") to make the tune more family-friendly.
